Total not changing from 0 on Shopping Cart AND not registering attendees proper

Updated to this morning. Running MER as well.

On my shopping cart page, the total will “refresh” (the circle will spin) but will stay at 0.00. Whether I change the number of tickets purchased or if I hit Refresh Total, neither works.

If I hit finish and fill out the answers to my questions (booking 2 events, 2 tickets each) and hit Confirm and Go to Payment Page I get a confirmation for 1 of the 4 events booked. If I use my email address as the test, I get 1 confirmation email. As the person running the event, I get 1 email about registration. My database only updates with 1 registration.

Hi there,

The first thing you can check for is if there are any templates in /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates fromt the previous version.

The first other I noticed on this page is it’s loading in https. Which method are you using to force SSL on this page? I’ve been testing Multi Event Registration out using the WordPress https plugin and found some issues that I’ve reported to the dev team to look into. In the meantime, you could try an alternative method to make that page load as https.

I’m using WordPress HTTPS. I tried turning that plugin off though and had the same issues.

I do have custom templates. I tried updating the shopping cart page to the new version and the Total did not work.

To reconfirm my testing this morning, I did remove all of my custom templates and deactivated all plugins except EE and MER and both of these issues remain.

We are having the same issue with the shopping cart showing $0. We were using a template for shopping_cart.php in uploads/templates but have removed it and still see the $0. (We do not have SSL on)

@sfoerst Hi, I checked your site today in Chrome and had no issues at all. I also received the correct number of emails (4).

@kromero have you done as Josh mentioned regarding templates? Which site is it on?

Hi Dean, I submitted a support token that has the site’s login information – you can get it from Josh. Take a look at the template folder – I have the new payment_page.php and payment_overview.php from in there modified and an old espresso_table.php custom file from We also don’t have SSL applied to the website yet, so that doesn’t apply (eventually will)

I’ll note I’ve only tested the problem with the shopping cart be 0.00, not sfoerst’s error about the attendees registering properly .

I rolled it back to .27.1 since I wasn’t hearing anything and I can’t have the registration not working.
