Installed EE3 with Recurring Events add-on on WP 5.0.3. Clicking “today” in drop-down picker does nothing. Anyone else have this problem?

How are you today?
Can you clarify what you mean by “does nothing”? It may be that you’re expecting the Today button to do something other than what it’s designed to do, which is bring the calendar back to the current month.
In other words, what it does do is highlight for the user to see today’s date on the calendar. If they were off in another month or another year, the calendar pops back to today’s view without deselecting the date the user already selected.

Oh, I thought it was a button to insert today’s date into the field. OK, never mind.

That’s a common thought, and some calendar datepickers have a Today button that does just that. In the case of this particular jQueryUI plugin, the Today button is more like a control button where it takes you back or forward to the current month.
