Hey there, Thanks a lot |

Hi there, We don’t currently have a ‘to be announced’ feature within Event Espresso, but you could add some details into the event content and hide the datetimes for that specific event on the front end. Would that work? You could also then create a custom message template for the event that does no include any date information (or additional details on the ‘provisional’ dates you are looking to use if that works). May I ask, after registration how do you intend on announcing the actual date to the registrants? |

Hey Tony, Thank you so much for the answers. How can I hide the date from the front end? Cheers, |
|
You use some CSS specific for that event, if you can post a link to the event I’ll give you an example. Note you can mark your reply private so only EE staff can view it if preferred. |

Hey Tony, If not, I will post the event and send you the link later. Thanks again, |
|
Sure! I should have just done that in the first place I guess ๐ So the CSS to select the datetime output is just:
So say your event ID is 1234 you would use:
Add that to Appearance -> Customize -> Additional CSS ad it should hide the datetimes on that specific event. You can also do multiple events by seaprating each selector with a comma, so an example of event 111 and 222 would be:

Thanks Tony, You are a superstar. Cheers, |

You’re most welcome ๐ |

Thank you again Tony. I used the provided CSS and it worked perfectly. Thanks again. I am closing the ticket Cheers, |
