Time slots for one event

I have a couple of events that are running on the same day but at different times. I have built them as ONE event and added more times, however, I cannot restrict each indivudal time for a set number of attendees or can I? I want each TIME SLOT to enable 4 people to attend then stop any further bookings on that TIME but it is stopping/allowing people to continue booking on every time slot. Surely I don’t have to build a new event for each time slot?
This is on EE3 as it EE4 wasn’t compatible.

Please help

Hi Tina,

This can be done in EE3, but there are some limitations.

In the General Settings set the option “Use registration limits on time slots?” to Yes.

This will enable a Qty (Quantity) field next to the times in the event editor.

Here you can set the max number of sales per time.

Important:

You need to set the Attendee Limit for the event and it needs to match the time quantities (e.g if there are 3 times, each with a quantity of 4, the Attendee Limit should be 12). This will stop people from signing up once the time quantities are used up.

Group bookings (Allow group registrations? option) must be disabled.

If those caveats are a problem, then the only options would be to create an event per time slot, or consider EE4 which allows a capacity per ticket/datetime.
