We have an instance where we have an event with 10 different ticket types and only 1 ticket available per type. This has to do with a unique ID on each ticket. 1) One of our tickets sold 3x when only 1 was available. What are instances in which this could happen? 2) We have an event where registration emails were triggered and accounted for however those people (all within the same purchase but with different email addresses as registrants) do not appear in the event list as having bought tickets. So, they appear in the “messages sent” properly as primary registrant and registrants, we have collected their payment. But they do not exist when we look at registrants within the event registration or the main registration and transaction pages. I am currently submitting a premium support request for this as I feel this is more complex than may of my other support requests within the 6 or so EE sites I have managed in the past. |
Hi Trevor, We received your request for priority support. With regards to your first question, (and 1:18 into your video), that 3 listed there is not number of tickets sold. That’s actually the number of registrations, there’s actually only one ticket sold there. The other two started the registration process, but abandoned the process before the sale was finalized. So the ticket stays available until someone actually buys the ticket. So there’s no overselling going on there. With regards to transaction 445 and the other missing registrations, it appears that some of these have been moved to the trash. Can you check with the admins of the site to see if they had been trashing registrations? Also, if you have a backup of the website, and can complete the support token form and include FTP credentials, we can investigate further and compare the data from the backup to the current data. Finally, I can advise to update the site so it has the current versions of the software. Bugs get reported and fix, and your site is nine versions behind for Event Espresso 4 core, and some of the add-ons are also out of date, like the Multi Event Registration add-on. |
