Hi team, We have a free event with four datetimes for which we approve or decline registrations. When a guest applies for registration for more than one datetime, as soon as we ‘approve & notify’ for any one datetime, the guest is issued with tickets for every datetime for which they have registered. If we decline, cancel or trash their registration for any datetimes, they are still issued with a ticket for every one of these datetimes as soon as we ‘approve & notify’ any other datetime. Our registration page is: https://www.blackevents.com.au/events/taste-champagne-london-2020-trade-media/ We are using Event Expresso 4.10.2.p in WordPress 5.3.2. Thanks in advance for your help! Cheers, Tyson. |

Hi Tyson, Do you mean they are still sent a link for tickets for every registration within the email? If so which email are you sending the ticket link in? |
|
Hi Tony, Thanks for your reply. Both the ‘Registration Approved’ email and the ‘Ticket notice’ email are going out to registrants with the TXN_TICKETS_URL link. This link is showing an approved active ticket for every datetime for which they have registered, not only those datetimes which have been approved. Cheers and thanks, Tyson. |

Hi Tony, I think I’ve solved my problem! I’ve replaced the ticket link shortcode in both emails with [TXN_TICKETS_APPROVED_URL] instead! We’re using the same email templates for events where we’re selling tickets. Will this code also give the correct ticket link for tickets that have been successfully purchased (obviously no manual approval process here)? Cheers and thanks, Tyson. |

Yeah, that’s the correct shortcode to only show approved registrations.
Yes, it will. Registrations with a status of ‘Approved’ are not the ‘manually approved’ regisrations and basically means the registration is ‘complete’. So when a nromal registration is made and payment in full made by the user using the EE online payment methods, the registration has its status set to ‘Approved’ and so counts in the sold values and will be included in the above shortcode. |

Thanks Tony, Really appreciate your help. I don’t post here much because you’ve almost always answered my questions here before I ask them. Always grateful for your thorough and clear responses. We’ve been using Event Expresso for big events in three countries for some years now, and it’s the best event software available. With thanks, Tyson. |

Thank you for the feedback 🙂 If you haven’t done so already we’d really appreciate if you would share your experience with Event Espresso or provide a review on WP.org, however, no pressure to do so. Any further problems/questions just let us know. |
