Hi there, I’ve searched around but can’t find much about this. Is there any way to allow people to click and get notified when tickets become available for sale?

In the section where it says the date when the tickets will be available, would be great if it was possible for people to be able to click a link and get notified when that date and time comes and they go live.

Have you heard of anyone doing this or is it possible at all?

Thanks.

Hi there,

The ticket selector should show the ticket and the date it goes on sale within the event – http://take.ms/NHwIm

Are you hiding pending/upcoming tickets using CSS?

Yes it shows the date just fine. Sorry if I wasn’t clear, wondering if it’s possible for users to get a notification when that date and time becomes active. So for example, on May 15th at 3:00PM (if that’s the date ticket sales open), people will get an email notification that tickets are now on sale and available to purchase.

Ah I see, that’s not something we currently have within Event Espresso.

You could use a list within MailChimp (or similar) and setup an automated email for the date the ticket becomes available to achieve something similar although you would need to include a newsletter signup on the site for that to work.
