Please help. I want to use the mobile ticketing app but am getting this error after running the requirements plugin:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function dns_get_record() in D:Hosting6097501htmlnewyorkbroadwaytourswp-contentpluginsespresso-requirements-checkespresso_requirements_check.php on line 48

Also, if I want multiple users to be able to use the app to track the events am I able to give them their own username and password instead of the main admin ID?

Thanks!

Hi,

The only reason I can see that the requirements check plugin is throwing that error is that your servers PHP version is not up to date or that function is not turned on in the server settings, you would need to refer to your host regarding this.

You can set the other users up as admins for the site. YOu can also change their role to one specified in the Roles and Permissions BASIC or PRO add ons, but the ticketing add on would need a slight code change to be able to see those roles and only those roles can use it.

So, I don’t understand php. What exactly should I do regarding getting this to work? I have godaddy as a host.

Hi

In order to get the plugin to work you need to ask your host (GoDaddy) if the dns_get_record function has been enabled in PHP, and if not can they turn it on.

K. I called and they said it was on. Then he told me what I needed to place into the endpoint refference which was just my domain name http://www.newyorkbroadwaytours.com and then it gave me another error which we fixed in wordpress. I had to turn on the mobile atom in general settings. Now it seems to work! Thank you so much πŸ™‚

Although now I keep getting an error when I try to login. It says the application Event Espresso (process com.eventespresso.android) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. πŸ™

Hi there,

Is the mobile app api installed? If so, was it installed in the same directory where WordPress is installed?

There are step by step instructions on how to install the mobile app api in the documentation:
