Hello,

Can the app check 800 people in one our from let say 5 devices? Do plan any further upgrades and do we still need espresso-services in the root directory after the yesterday’s upgrade?

Hi Peter,

Yes it should handle 800 people in an hour, with five devices, as thats only one every 30 seconds or so.

We always plan to upgrade Event Espresso and everything to do with it, it’s just a matter of how and when, normally dependant on internal resources.

Yes currently the espresso-services folder is still required. Our roadmap is to have all the ticketing apps work off of the JSON API, like the iPad does, but again, there is no definite timescale for that occurring.
