Ticket Types aren't showing

Hi

I’ve set up my EE to show on a calendar and then link to a bespoke page eg http://bmc-client.co.uk/tppmain/master-your-mind/ (down the bottom of the page) where there is a ticket selector shortcode. However my problem is for some reason the ticket types aren’t showing just a ‘register now’ button. Because this is set as a custom page set to be the on the same page that the shortcode is on its not going anywhere!

I am expecting this to go to the checkout pages having selected my tickets but they aren’t showing. Please let me know what I need to check to make this show again. I have had it showing before but for some reason its not there – its not on my events page either http://bmc-client.co.uk/tppmain/events/.

Hi, inspecting the button shows there is some information missing from the ticket selector code.

Could you update to the current version of Event Espresso 4?

You can see changes since your version here:

Thank Lorenzo have updated to 4.8.18 and my ticket types are still not showing it should allow me to choose a quantity of tickets and go to the cart section. I’m sure it was doing that before. Any other ideas?

Hi there,

You can restore the ticket types and registration functionality by going in to edit those events, and removing the URL from the Alternative Registration Page field, then update the event.

When the Alternative Registration Page field has a URL, it effectively bypasses the registration feature of Event Espresso. This feature is intended to direct registration to a third party website, like Facebook or EventBrite.

OK thanks Josh yes got them back by doing that but I wanted to link from the event espresso calendar to the URL of the course if you see Master Trainer on the calendar of this page http://bmc-client.co.uk/tppmain/course-intro/

By using the alternative registration pagethis would go to the page http://bmc-client.co.uk/tppmain/master-trainer/ where in turn they could use the ticket selector code to choose the ticket.

If I use the default it goes to the register page http://bmc-client.co.uk/tppmain/events/presenting-magically-main/ which has just the registration information not the sales stuff.

Is there another way around this by selecting another link from calendar or forcing the ticket selector to come up with alternative register links?

You have a few options:
1) You can place the sales information on the event page.
2) You can use a different calendar plugin and set up pages that correspond to the Event Espresso events. Then, when you set up the pages for the calendar, you can put the ticket selector shortcode on those pages.
