I have a client that is using one of our licences from our Developer licences for EE4 and they are wishing to be able to log tickets etc in relation to their installation.
Can you please advise how we would give them access to ticket support, without utilising my account.
They will actually need to purchase their own support license.
The developer license is only intended for a situation where the developer assists their end-client with technical issues. It that circumstance it’s appropriate for the developer to field the technical support requests on behalf of the client. Otherwise, the client should purchase their own support license.
There’s no difference in cost to buy a support license vs. buying a support license that includes access to plugin updates. If they choose to not use the support license key on their site, they’ll still get access to use the support services.
