When I use the shortcode for embedding the ticket selector in a wordpress page, clicking ‘add event to cart’ redirects the users browser to the event espresso event page associated with that ticket selector.
The expected behaviour would be to view the cart or remain on the current page until the user selects view cart

Hi Cypher,
From your feedback here and your notes in your other support post here (https://eventespresso.com/topic/cant-edit-permalinks/), it sounds like there is a plugin conflict that is preventing those options from working as expected.
You can check to see if there is a plugin conflict by temporarily deactivating all plugins except for Event Espresso. If the problem goes away, then reactivate your plugins one by one until the issue returns. This will help you pinpoint the source of the conflict.

Hi Lorenzo. I have tried that with no sucess. It appears to be a new thing since I updated event espresso. I noticed that it appeard after I updated event espresso at the same time I started to experience this https://eventespresso.com/topic/please-select-a-datetime-error/

Is the ticket short code for the Ticket Selector being added to the main content section of the page or into something like a page builder template?

It is being inserted into the registration box of a Januas (showthemes) event page.

You can use the embed code instead of the short code there.

Is there any plan to ‘fix’ this so the embed code works in page builders? An iframe is not a valid solution for my site.

You’d have to check with Showthemes to see if they plan on fixing the Januas theme.
