Hello Folks,
According to this https://eventespresso.com/wiki/barcode-scanner-add-on/ there is no Barcode Scanner App that can be used only for managing EE Events right?
I am thinking about writing one on my own and put it on Playstore / Appstore.
Do you think that this is a good idea. Are there are people who would use / appreciate such an app?

Hi, are you referring to a mobile app for scanning? If so, please see this support article:

Also, we are currently rewriting the JSON API add-on for Event Espresso 4.
That helps with communication between the mobile apps and your WordPress site. We’ll take another look at mobile apps for Event Espresso 4 once that has been completed.
