Only ‘Approved’ registrations apply to the ‘sold’ values of a ticket/datetime. You currently have 4 registrations on the ticket but none of them have been ‘Approved’ through either online payment, manual admin payment or the admin manually changing the status of the registration.
Thanks for this answer. I’m still wondering something: should the field Qté decrease each time there is a new registration? What I expected is yes but it doesn’t work like this on my website. For me this would be a good mean to really limit the number of tickets potentially available.
For example:
– I set the Qté to 4
– I have one new registration
– The field Qté should be now automatically set to 3, so that only 4 person can potentially register to the event, as I set as the event admin.
If it doesn’t work like this, what is your advice to really limit the number of registration the event admin wants to allow on his event?
The value that is set on the pricing option (ticket) limit is the total amount that is available for that specific option.
Lets say that a specific pricing option has a limit of 10 and it is a paid option which means there is a price.
If 5 people register today and pay, then there would be 5 guests with a status of registration approved and there would be 5 remaining spaces.
Now lets say tomorrow, that 3 people start registration and share their registration details but do not pay. There would still be 5 remaining spots for this specific ticket option.
A status of registration approved counts against the limits that are set.
If an event is free as in no cost, then this happens right after they share their registration details.
If an event is paid as in there is a cost, then this happens after they share their registration details AND pay any balance due.
