Hello, I would like to purchase this plugin asap however I have a few questions:

  1. Can I have an option where if more than 10 tickets are purchased then the ticket price changes to a discounted rate?

  2. At registration can I select multiple ticket types and quantities eg. 2 x adult and 2 x child (at their different prices)?

  3. Can I put different events on different pages of my website?

Your urgent attention would be very much appreciated.

Kind regards,
Marissa

I Marissa,

Yes and no. I’ll explain.

  1. We have a volume discount addon we’re building and if you purchase Event Espresso and want to test it out then we can send it to you. This discount will do just like you’re asking for.
  2. With the Multiple Event Registration (https://eventespresso.com/product/espresso-multiple/) addon you can do that, seen here: http://www.screencast.com/t/4WiJjXITm7
  3. You can add events to any page on your WordPress website by using event-specific or category-specific shortcodes on individual pages.

Does that help?

Dear Garth,

Thank you for your response. We would be interested in purchasing the plugin asap. However, please advise how much the “Volume Discount” Addon costs and how quickly we would have access to it as we need to have the entire site working tomorrow and I did not see it mentioned on your website.

Kind regards,
Marissa

It’s available for testing on request but we would not be able to provide support until a license for it was purchased (when it becomes available for public release).

Does the “Volume Discount” Addon allow us make actual ticket sales? We understand that it is available for “testing” however, we need this feature to work as soon as we purchase the plugin (hopefully today).

Otherwise, is there an option to set a minimum quantity of tickets (eg. min 10)?

What do you mean does it allow you to make actual ticket sales? Do you mean does it hobble your installation because it’s still in development? If so, no, it’s fully operational. It’s being used here: http://universityofutahhockey.com/fans/season-tickets/

Currently there isn’t a way to set a minimum quantity of tickets (unfortunately).

Dear Chris,

Thank you for your reply. We have one more question please:

We would like to apply the discount to adult ticket prices only. Would this addon allow us to calculate for example:

10 x adult (discounted price because it is over 10) +
2 x children (normal price) +
1 x adult (normal price)

= TOTAL PRICE

Kind regards,
Marissa

I don’t think it’s that granular at this time. Right now, as far as I know, it will support a threshold of total price or total number of tickets but not total number of tickets of a specific type. This is something that may be possible with the changes being made in 3.2.

Okay well that’s fine for the moment. We purchased the plugin, so could you please send us the “Volume Discount” Addon as we will need to install it asap (our payment details are below)?

Merchant: Event Espresso LLC
Description: Event Espresso Business License
Invoice Number: s2-503ef9093a4ef

Kind regards,
Marissa

Dear Seth,

We are now trying to combine the Volume Discount Plugin with the Promotional Codes option. We would like the volume discount plugin to work for customers and the promotional code option to be available for staff.

Is it possible to integrate the two discounts in the same transaction please?

Kind regards,
Marissa
