I cannot find a logic for ticket option:
A 3 Day event with different tickets on each day or 2day and 3day ticket are already there. Another ticket vor VIP event in combination.

Now we need an option for discount prices for children, but do not want to use another set of 5 tickets with discount options.

Did i miss the system or my logic is not able to understand abstract of the system? I cannot figure out, how this calculation system works on this.
Do we have to setup another set of tickets for children only?

Hello,

You can create additional tickets for children on the existing event or duplicate the event and add something like “Registration for Children” to the name of the event like this:

Summer Festival – Registration for Children only

…and then update the pricing as needed.

Thanks for quick response… I thought like this – But how does another Event fit together, when parents want ticket for themselves and Children, does this work in one session to the cart and checkout? The workflow for parents with children has to be smooth without changing the event….

And how can I duplicate the event?

Hi, if you are wanting registrations for parent and child, then you could create these under the same event.

On your screenshot, it looks like your theme is overriding some styling. Do you have a link available to the event page?

Yes you are right, under same event it is more easy. I swiched off Multi-Event, because this affects the live site, so cannot show this – Actual site is here http://wonderfulevents.org/events/seegespraeche-sommerfest-2016/

Theme is overriding, is there a way to avoid this? I do have child-theme…

Hello, that happens on some themes and the way to fix is to introduce some more specific styles and then those could be added to your site via a custom CSS area (if available in your theme) or through a free plugin like Simple Custom CSS or Reaktiv CSS Builder.

That ensures that the new styling is maintained even if you update Event Espresso.

We would need to actually see the issue on the page so we could inspect in Firebug or Chrome developer tools to share the actual CSS to correct the styling on the buttons.
