Hello, I have a question about the ticket system. I read that is possible to setup a maximum quantity of tickets that can be bought in one transaction and that is good. But I have an additional need and I would like to know if it is possible with Event Espresso.

1) The ticket page should be visible only to registered users
2) I would like to setup a maximum quantity of tickets that can be bought by each user not only by each transaction

Is it possible with EE4? If not do you think that is feasible and not to complex implement this behavior via custom code?

Hi Marco,

You can use the Restrict User Access plugin to make all of the ticket pages visible only to registered users.

In order to setup a maximum quantity of tickets that can be bought by each user, it would require building a plugin to 1) set the limit per user account, 2) keep track of tickets per user account, then 3) hook into the registration process and enforce the limit. This job would be best suited for an experienced WordPress developer who has some experience with building add-ons for Event Espresso.
