I received an email with my ticket information and a link is in it saying “Print Your Tickets”. When I click on this link it just opens the event web site on the bookings page but does not make any attempt to let me print my tickets off. Any ideas please? Regards |

Any news please as my client is getting a bit annoyed about this. |
Hi Steve, Is this happening for all registrations or specific ones? The above generally happens for one of 3 reasons: 1. The Primary Registrant connected to the registrations connect to that link has been trashed. 2. The ticket message type has been deactivated. 3. Something is filtering the request and removing the ‘token’ from the request. If it’s happening for specific tickets then check they aren’t in a group and the primary registration is not in the trash. If it’s happening for all tickets then check that the ticket message type is active: Event Espresso -> Messages -> Settings -> HTML. Make sure the ‘Ticket’ message type is in the ‘active’ section (the section on the left). |

Ticket is active in the HTML section. I created a free event as I wanted to see what a ticket looked like, to see if we could use the barcode. I registered for the event. I received all the registration emails etc. and also an email which had a link in the body to print the ticket off. When I click on that link it just opens the web site but not a ticket to print. I did not, on purpose, register as my admin email address on the site but used a separate personal one. The registration was for a single person, me, no group. As primary registrant I received the registration as expected OK and also the “here is your ticket” email, with the link that does not work. Cheers Steve |
Can you link me to the event so I can test a registration and view this? |
|
|
Sorry no as the event was setup to only test this issue due to customer complaints about not receiving tickets. Do you want a link to another event? Steve |
Sure, anything, I just need to test the ticket. |

Hi Tony I have set up a new event here: https://ntlbiologica.com/antibodytesting/events/test-event/ It is a free event. The ticket link seems to work now, as long as I am not logged in to the site, having tried it in a browser where I was not logged in….. Cheers Steve |
Hmm, that’s strange. So even if you view my ticket link does the same happen when logged in/out? Do you have any plugins that restrict the admin etc when logged in? |

Hi Tony Bizarre. Now, after another test, whether logged in or not, the ticket link is working! Infuriating! Whilst I have you can you tell me how to change the font on the Thank you page for the two links: “edit info” and “resend email” as these two links are tiny, almost invisible. Also the social media icons/links under the Support Us On Social media are not the same size, how can these be changed please. Thanks |
Yeah, that’s really odd. If it happens again, send me the link for the ticket that isn’t working for you and if it’s only failing when logged in I’ll need temp login details to view it, you can send the details (and the ticket link) over with this form: https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/ (note I don’t need them now as its working, just if it happens again I’ll cature the request and see if anything stands out, but I’ll obviously need to be able to reproduce that to do it)
You can use some CSS like this:
In short, you can’t. Those social buttons are iframes from Twitter/Facebook themselves and you cant change the styling of those buttons. |
