We were attempting to create a single ticket that could be scanned up to a max of 500 times for a partner of an upcoming event. This partner is going to use the QR code and place them on some print material. Each scan would be worth 1 entry into our event. So we attempted to build free, hidden ticket (one that was not public) with a max attendee limit of 500, and max group registrants of 500. We selected 500 as our # of tickets and the system gave us only 127. Apparently this is internal limit.

Is there a way to accomplish this using the same QR code? If so, could this be done for an unlimited # of tickets just for tracking purposes?

using wp 3.6.1
ee version 3.1.35.1.P
new installation

Hi Brian,

Currently that is a hard limit imposed by the database. We simply never thought users would need more than 127 tickets in a single purchase!

This thread here explains briefly how you can double the amount to 255 – https://eventespresso.com/topic/attendees-max-out-at-127-how-do-i-fix-this/

There is a fix being worked on to increase the maximum number over 255, but it has yet to be released.
