Ticket icons not showing in registration view

Hi,

For some reason the ticketing system has stopped working in EE4 for me. There is no ticket icon in the registration view, and no ticket message type (though there is a ticket notice message type and the ticketing plugin is activated).

Please can you advise.

Ni Nick,

If you go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Settings.

Find the ‘Ticket Notice’, if it is in the active messengers section, move it over to the in-active messengers on the right, wait a few seconds and move it back.

Next switch to the HTML section of the settings and do the same with the ‘Ticket’ message.

Now check your message templates again, do they both show?

Hi Tony,

There is no ‘Ticket’ message showing in the HTML section of settings.

Also, I don’t know if this is related. I just looked at the Message Activity page and can see that no email address is showing for three registration emails that were sent out today. I just see ‘No Recipient’

Hi Nick,

Can you go to the WordPress > Plugins page and check to see if the Event Espresso Ticketing add-on is activated?

The No Recipient message you saw is normal if the emails are waiting for the next wp-cron task to run, but if there’s a problem with wp-cron on your site, you can go to Event Espresso > Messages > Settings, and set the Messages to send on the same request.

The plugin is activated – I have the latest version of the plugin and EE4 core installed.

There should be a Ticket message type on the Event Espresso > Messages > Message Settings > HTML page. Are there any message types on that page?

Yes, Invoice and Receipt only.

Hi Nick,

Let’s make sure that you have the EE4 Printable Tickets Add-on v1.0.4.p activated. There are some other add-ons with a similar name, but the one that adds the Ticketing message type is the one that’s outlined in the following screenshot:

Having updated to the latest version of core EE4 I thought I would once again deactivate and activate the Ticketing Add on, which I did, and now everything works again. So something appears to have clicked back into place!
