Hi Event Espresso Team,

I have 6 different tickets for an event:

1. Combi Ticket (Lunch and Dinner included)
2. Ticket for Lunch
3. Ticket for Dinner
4. Seat Ticket (free)
5. Ticket for youngsters for lunch
6. Ticket for youngsters for dinner

Ticket 1-3 shall only be able to be purchased once per user and if a user purchases ticket 1, he shall not be able to purchase ticket 2 or 3 (so you can only purchase one ticket from ticket 1-3). For ticket 4 only one purchase shall be possible. For tickets 5 and 6 up to 10 tickets shall be purchased.

How can I do this in Event Espresso?

Thanks a lot for your answer and best regards,

Pascal

Hi Pascal,

We don’t have a way to restrict tickets based on other limited currently, so for 1-3 we can’t restrict the use to be able to only purchase a single ticket type there.

4. Seat Ticket (free)

You can set the Tkt Qty for that ticket to be 1 so only a single ticket selection can be made. However, the user can still return to purchase additional tickets within separate transactions if they wish.

So to set this up you click on the options section for the ticket and then edit:

Within the details section you can set a Max Qty of 1, like this:

Then save.

For tickets 5 and 6 up to 10 tickets shall be purchased.

When you create the ticket, you can set a Min and Max qty for that specific ticket which sounds like it will do what you are looking for.

Same steps as above, this time set Max to 10.
