Hi Support Team,

Do ticket purchases have optional add-ons? For example, if your ticket only consists of a seat, but you have an option to buy popcorn with it for an additional $5? If so, how do I do so?

You can add an option to buy popcorn by creating a second ticket option, where you give it a name like “Ticket+Popcorn”, and price the ticket accordingly.

Okay, I suppose I should have started with the actual example…

I have an event that allows vendors to buy tickets to reserve a limited amount of tables for the show. The main ticket is the table, while adding power is an optional $25 add-on. I’m using EE to also keep track of the amount of tickets left to purchase so I won’t be able to create a separate ticket for an add-on as this will double the quantity of tickets that I need.

No it wouldn’t double the quantity of available tickets. This is because you set the registration limit to the date time. This allows for any combination of ticket options (like adding power to a table, or not) to total up to that registration limit limit set for the date time.

Oh, I didn’t know that. Okay, I’ll do that instead then. Thanks for the suggestion, Josh!

Hello,

Were there any other questions that we could help you with?
