Hi there,

I am working on an event that needs to have different types of tickets (member, nonmember, etc.) and once a user selects a ticket they then have the option to select additional items such as dinner, Golf Tournament Fee, etc.

Currently the only way to achieve that is to add the options as additional tickets and disable the questions requested for additional registrations through EE.

So you’d have a selection of tickets set within the event, the user selects the member/non-member ticket and then any of the ‘add-on’ tickets they wish. EE will then only request details once for the full registration.

Note that this means all of the tickets they purchase will be under the same name and you may need to limit each registration to a single user.

In that same idea, is there a way to make certain types of tickets have specific question groups? For example, if they select a dinner ticket can we then have them choose what type of entree they would like?

Questions are assigned per event, to allow you to do the above they would need to be assigned per ticket. It would be possible for a developer to use some jQuery to hide various questions based on the selection of others but its not something EE currently support out the box.
