During accessibility testing, the featured images used had empty alt text for the img tags. Looking into the code (lines 9 & 13 of content-espresso_events-thumbnail.php), it appears the plugin is assigning the post’s featured image expert as the source to use as the alt text for its featured images. However, media library images do not even have excerpts so they will always be empty. Can this be checked and fixed to use the image’s actual Alt Text meta field?
