Hi Laura,

I’m trying to reproduce this so I can see what is happening but so far I’ve been unable to, do you know which version of PHP your site is running?

Hmm, strange. I’m not able to reproduce this.

The first step I would take is to reinstall Event Espresso to confirm all files are correct.

First, create a database backup (just to be safe).

Then Deactivate and Delete EE4 through Dashboard -> Plugins (none of you Event data will be lost but we created a database backup just to be sure anyway).

Now go to Dashboard -> Plugins -> Add new -> Upload plugin.

Download Event Espresso 4 from your account page.

The .zip file that just downloaded, select it in the upload plugin section above and install again.

Does it work now or throw the same error?

Hey Tony!
That seemed to work and fixed our problem!
Thanks for your support.

Great! I’m glad that fixed it.

Sounds like an update failed or something altered the files within Event Espresso, which then caused the above error.

As a one-off I wouldn’t worry about it but if continues to happen this should be investigated further.
