I found this known issue here:

but the discussion on this topic was closed.
I wanted to see if there is any progress implementing a fix for this. I see there is a pre-release version of the “Recurring Events Manager” plugin, however I don’t see any documentation or changelog about it, and whether it contains a fix.

Hello,
The fix for this required changes to both the Recurring Events Manager and Event Espresso core.
We have included these within the next version of the Recurring Events Manager and Event Espresso 3.1.37, both of which are currently under testing.
If you would like a copy of the current versions of these I can email those to the address linked to your account. However to note as these versions are currently under testing there may be bugs we have not yet found within these versions although they are considered stable. If you would like to try these I would recommend first creating a Full Site Backup including your files and database, we have a guide posted here:
