I want to change some of the front end style of our event pages and other templates. I don’t know CSS. This references themes available: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/put-custom-templates/
Are those just for EE3? How can I easily make some changes to EE4?

Hi there,
It turns out that the Themeroller templates were for EE3 only. You can make the changes via your WordPress theme. If your theme has options for changing front end styles, anything you change in the theme’s settings will be applied to Event Espresso’s pages.

Yeah I know I can make changes to my WP theme, but I don’t like the layout of the single event pages and that’s what I want to change. It would be great if there were some more front end options for EE4 for those of us who can’t write code! 🙂

Of course it’d be great, but this level of customization would still need to be handled by the theme. Where it was possible to manage, they added some settings that allow for to arranging some of the layout of the content of the event display. Have you looked in the Template Options? There’s a feature that lets you hide/show some of the different template parts, as well as arrange the template parts in the order you specify.
