Themeroller not changing

Hi there,
i don’t know what happened, but all of a sudden my themeroller sticks on a orange color. Instead it needs to be blue, like we had it before. If i try to change it in my settings, nothing happens, i can save it as much as i like, but nothing happens no changes at all.

Hope you guys can help me out again, i was ready to promote the new website and now it’s not working:(

Hi Pim,

It appears that you have some template files in the wp-uploads/espresso/templates directory. Can you either remove those or change the name of the templates directory? You can do this through FTP, or through the template settings of Event Espresso under the ThemeRoller options.

Hi again,
Sorry i forgot to mention that i already tried to change the name of the directory, by pressing: rename directory under the themeroler options.
When i do that, the website turns in a blank page for everyone everywhere. If i change the name back to templates it works again.
I can’t delete the files in the directory because i modified them and other wise my settings will be lost with updates as i read on your forum.

Any ideas how i can fix this problem?

I see that you mentioned that the settings are “stuck” and won’t change. Are you using any caching plugins/services?

Hi again,

No i don’t have any caching plugins. It happened when i transferred my whole site to the new directory: old was: and new is, but it should just work because i kopied all the files and everything works accept the themeroler. I didn’t delete anything and i dont use new plugins which i didn’t use before. So i really dont know what happened, or what i can do to fix it.

Thanks for the feedback Pim! I looked at a couple pages in Chrome Developer Tools and I see that the orange color is coming from a plugin with this folder name:


Does that plugin sound familiar?

Hi there,
Jup that was one of the plugin i used. Just deleted it, and all the colors work fine again.
