I’m looking for an off the shelf ticketing system for a small theme park website that I’m developing.

1. Does this support “package deal” ticketing? For example. Currently we offer 2 adults and 2 children for $100. Can the system have a package that would include all 4 tickets, again, 2 adult and 2 children with ONE transaction?

2. I filled out the form for a “test drive” and want to make sure this will work before spending $200 on it. We have been looking at other systems as well, but this SEEMS like it is the one.

Hi Wheezy,

How are you today?

How does the pricing for the single and package tickets work? With the Multiple Event Registration addon (https://eventespresso.com/product/espresso-multiple/) people can purchase multiple tickets at once but do you also want discounts?

Hey Garth, I’m well. Thanks for asking. How are you?

I know about the Multiple Event – where someone could add ONE adult and ONE child ticket or any combination of available tickets. That functionality is what I like most about your system.

My question though, is in regards to a prepackaged “event” that included 4 tickets. I guess as you stated a discount would work. But we have to realize, that gets complicated to think about for the average person. That’s why I specifically asked if it can handle “PACKAGE DEALS” – where ONE “event” – would include 4 tickets that can be printed for ONE price.

My real world example is 2 adults, 2 kids – without having to add all four tickets manually and then applying a code.

Do you have to strictly control the number of people at the amusement park during the day? Why can’t you create a ticket named “Family Pack” and price it the equivalent (or discounted amount) for 2 adults and 2 kids?

Yes, but that idea may still work just fine as I can implement a script in our software that will account for the additional people PER ticket. Interesting though, a bit more work but that should be ok. Thanks for your help Garth.

You guys really should consider a 30 day demo of the full software!

We’ve considered it several times but we’ll discuss it again.
