The Payment Methods Pro Stripe Tests not showing in Stripe

Hello,

As the subject line states, Payment Methods Pro Stripe Tests aren’t showing in Stripe. They are showing in our EE admin as completed successfully. Emails are going out fine…Just nothing showing for the test at Stripe.

Does this plugin bypass this or is there a problem?

Hi,

Can you do a test with Stripe without PM Pro activated to see if that makes any difference?

Hi Josh,
They were going in before we started using the add-on…but if we deactivate it now, the tests will go into the wrong account, which is the reason we got the plugin. We have two Stripe accounts.

It’s weird because it looks like it’s working. Gateway response succeeded, have a transaction number. Just nothing in Stripe.

I’m not keen on disabling the plugin to test if I can find an answer without doing so.

That answers my question anyway because you used Stripe before the PM Pro add-on was added.

The first thing to check is if the stripe tests are going to the other account. If not, then another thing to check is whether they’re in “View Test Data” in the Stripe account. If you connect to Stripe while “Use Debug Mode?” is set to Yes, then they’ll go to Test Data.

Hi Josh,
Yes I checked both of the accounts and yes, I was viewing test data. And EE is set to debug. We have four Stripe account setups. Two for each Stripe account. One live and one test for each Stripe account so we can toggle in the EE event itself between them.

You could also check the logs in Event Espresso > Payment Methods > Logs to see if there’s any error codes included in the responses from Stripe.

Logs are not showing any problems Josh.

My conclusion is that EE is working properly and this is a problem at Stripe, not with EE. The account owner is seeing payments now even though I am not. They’re raised my permissions from developer to admin but I’m still not seeing them even though they are.

Hopefully this thread will enlighten others if they encounter a similar issue…And thanks for your help!
