We have set two events, when the guest registered for event A, our custom code will help the guest registered for event B (a free gift coupon) at the same time. Then the confirmation email (registration approval message) with two QR codes should be sent to the guest after successful payment. Therefore, the number of registration of event A (i.e. 35) should be the same as the confirmation email sent. However, from the message activity tab under messages panel, it shows only 20 emails sent. Can you please advise the possible reason?
And we found that the confirmation email seems will stay in the queue of generation as well as the queue of sending. We would like to have almost real time confirmation email sent after successful payment. Any settings that we should adjust or take note?
I don’t have enough information to know why there were 20 emails, but it could be there are only 20 Approved registrations, and only 20 messages of the Registration Approved type were sent out. If the other 15 have Registration Pending Payment status, then that would be the reason.

You go to Event Espresso > Messages > Message Settings and set the the option for emails to be sent on the same request.
