When I installed this for the first time, and tried to add a new promotion I got and erro The EE_Promotion_Event_Scope class (I didn’t capture the rest). I then went into settings and the clicked Promotion banners from DO NOT DISPLAY to Plain text. Then when I click on add new promotion I didn’t get the error.

Hi Denise,

Are you testing the current betas of Event Espresso core and promotions available from Github? If not, you can download them from our Github repository here:

https://github.com/eventespresso/event-espresso-core/tree/BETA-4.8-CORE
https://github.com/eventespresso/EE4-Promotions

Hi Josh,

Thanks for this. How can I tell if I have the latest downloads from GIT HUB? The download doesn’t seem to be versioned? My downloads were from the the pre-released downloads section in my accounts page. Its kind of hard to tell if the GIT HUB releases are newer compared to what I already have. Can you please tell me how I can tell if the GIT release is newer?

Thanks
Denise

Thanks!
Denise

If you downloaded them from the pre-release section, they are not from github. The github downloads are available here:

https://github.com/eventespresso/event-espresso-core/tree/BETA-4.8-CORE
