I’ve been looking for the best solution to scan tickets from a smartphone, and I’m unable to find it.
If the app doesn’t works with ee4, how can scan my client from smartphone?
The same method can be used on iOS just using a different app, the idea is the same, an app that will pass the barcode/QR codes to the input field within the barcode scanner page.
For iOS there is an app called barcode scan to web which opens a browser with a scan button, similar to the keyboard for Android.
However you mentioned multi register, so I’m guessing you want to register onto multiple events at once? (Not just multiple users to a single event)
We do not have a migration path from EE4 -> EE4, all of the events will need to be manually re-created within EE3, any registrations from EE4 will not be available.
Instead of “This is not a full app integration with EE4 but does allow you to scan tickets using only your Android device. We are investigating a similar app for iOS.”
Since this topic is resolved, I am going to close it. If you have anymore questions or issues, please start a new topic and we will be happy to help there. 🙂
