How can I modify the message that appears on the landing page after one registers for a Free Event?
The current page says:
Thank you! Your registration is confirmed for 1 <Organization Name> events
A confirmation email has been sent with additional details of your registration.
Thank you in advance for any pointer on where to edit this message.

Hi Lorenzo,
I just wanted to make some minor edits….
For example, when registering for one event (singular), the message refers to events (plural). Also when purchasing multiple free tickets, I wanted to inform the recipient they should expect a separate Email to be sent for each ticket requested.
What is the file name & location that you provided the snippet of?

Alright, if it was just adding or removing a sentence, then I would recommend a gettext filter.
This is the location of the file:
/wp-content/event-espresso/templates/payment_page.php
Copy that over to this location using your preferred SFTP / FTP client (e.g. FileZilla, Cyberduck):
/wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates
Then you can make customizations to that new file and they will be used by Event Espresso and be preserved when you update your software.
