Text box pop up for verification

Is there a way to create a question that will make a pop or some notification to the registrant to prompt them for the next step.
For example a user selects yes or no for purchase order question and text box pops up saying PO number required.

Hi there,

We don’t have anything built into core that will do that, it would be possible for a developer to use some JavaScript to hide/show questions based the answer of other questions but will require custom development.
