Hi, we’re close to finishing our conversion to EE4 with the QB payment gateway and going live. But we have not been able to test credit card transactions on the QB payment gateway. Are there “dummy” credit card credentials that we can use to run through an entire registration and payment flow?

Intuit developer support has pointed me to a list of credit card numbers for use with their full developer API, but they don’t work with the EE4 QB plugin. And they say they have no information on the plugin and suggested contacting you.

As a last resort, I guess I can move the site from “development” to “live” and test on real credit cards, but was hoping to test on the full flow prior to going live.

Appreciate any help you can provide.

Hi,

When you’re connecting your site to your Quickbooks testing/development app, you’ll also have set Debug Mode On? setting to Yes in Event Espresso > Payment Methods > Quickbooks

See step 3 here:
https://eventespresso.com/wiki/quickbooks-payment-gateway/#connect_testing

When Debug Mode is on, the payment page will display a few sets of dummy credit card numbers you can use for testing.
