Testing a groupon code and it is not working

I just ran a groupon test code that groupon supplied to me. I loaded it in, made it active then tried to register with it and it said it was invalid or expired. First off, it doesnt even have a place to add in the expiration date on the groupon so how could it know that it is expired?

Which leads me to the next question, where do you put the expiration date of the groupon so if they try to enter it give that message?

I would also think I will need help adding the excel list of codes into our system, those directions are not for beginners for sure. How much would it cost to upload our groupon numbers into the system? I will receive them tomorrow and the groupon goes live Saturday.

Hi Dina,

Our social coupons/groupon add-on doesn’t have an expiration date feature per se. If you set an event to accept groupon codes, it will accept them for as long as the event is open for registration.

I’m going to reply to your email about how to get the Groupons entered into the system, so I’ll follow up with you about that and the invalid groupon code issue in the email.
