Hi- Here’s a page that’ll show you what is occurring (http://theparchedpainter.com/event-registration/?ee=7) Thanks! |
|
Hi, Please disable the reCAPTCHA option or add an API key as it is stopping the page from loading. Please advise when done and we can look at the terms button issue. Thanks. |

OK. I’ve unchecked “Use reCAPTCHA[4] to block spam registrations:” in the general settings. As far as I can tell, it’s still not allowing me to process a registration. Thanks for the help! |
Hi Alison, If they click on ‘Terms and Conditions’ it will actually link them to the Terms and Conditions Page. (They will then need to click ‘Back’ on the browser) If they just tick the checkbox they can continue with the registration. Also you may want to edit the question and mark it as required. So that they must agree to the terms and conditions before registering. Other than that everything looks fine, I have just ran through a Test Registration (TonyEETest) which you can remove if you wish. |

Hi- Thanks! |
Hi Alison, I’ve just taken another look at the sites sourse code and the terms and conditions link has been placed on all of the elements after the checkbox, this will be why your having problems. Can I ask which tutorial you followed? It may be easier if we can take a look at the code used. Would it be possible for you to send us your log-in details? If so use please https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/ |

I’m unsure. I did a Google search and found a YouTube video. It looked like it was put together by Event Espresso. It was a simple tutorial on how to add a terms and conditions option. I’ll send you my login credentials and hopefully you can see why it’s sending users back to the same page over and over. Thanks so much! Erin |
Hi Alison, I’ve just updated the question to fix this. The problem was with the a tag, it had not been closed. To explain so that you create others if need be. When you create a link the tags need to be closed at the end. I’ve pasted an example HERE to show you (as our code highlighter will alter it making it confusing to read) I’ve already made the change on that question so if you look how that is currently you can see how it should be ๐ Now your users can just check the checkbox and continue on as normal.
