hi,
I’m writing on behalf of the Southwest Montana Arts Council. We are considering building a new website that uses Event espresso. One thing that is confusing me is:
Is event espresso a stand alone template that has adjustable css? Or, is it a plugin that can be incorporated, and requires a css template? If so, what template(s) do you recommend?
Thanks,
David Regan

Hello David,

Event Espresso is a plugin, which consists of the core Event Espresso plugin and additional add on plugins (dependent on licence).

You can modify the plugins CSS or use the themes css to modifythe looks.

You will need a theme (template) to use Event Espresso as WordPress needs a theme to run.

Most themes will work with Event Espresso though every theme is coded differently, some not as well coded as others. We would recommend using some of the larger theme foundries such as Woo Themes, Themeify, Thesis, Genesis, etc. Of course you need to find a theme which suits you both in looks and functionality as well as skill level as some themes like Genesis are more of a framework that a ready to go theme.
