I am using event espresso for an event registration, there have been some small issues that I was told are a template/theme conflict (example- I set questions as required fields and you can still complete a registration without completing all fields I set as required).. Do you have any recommendations for wordpress themes/templates that work best with the event espresso plug-in?

Also – Do you suggest using a WooCommerce theme to run event espresso?

Hi Josh,

I checked your site and there is a JavaScript error coming from the theme. It’s a fairly common error where jQuery hasn’t been put into noconflicts mode correctly.

Normally this is easily fixed by contacting the theme developer or even by modifying the javascript yourself.

If you still want to change themes, we don’t have any specific recommendations barring to make sure to use a developer that adheres to WordPress standard. Most mainstream developers such as Woothemes, Themify, Studiopress etc will do that.

What we do have is a list of themes with known issues – https://eventespresso.com/wiki/known-third-party-plugin-theme-conflicts/
