Hi, I have the EE4 Personal Licence activated on my WordPress-site – but the Events – Templates is not active. Why is that? Do I need another licence to be able to edit templates?

Best,
Christian

Hi there,

You currently have 4.9.61.decaf of the plugin activated on your site, the decaf version has limited functionality so you need the regular version installed.

Go to your account page and on the right side of the page you’ll see a download section, click on ‘Event Espresso 4 Core Regular v4.9.61.p’ to download that version locally.

Now on your site go to Dashboard -> Plugins

Deactivate and delete the current version of Event Espresso Decaf that you have installed.

Then go to Plugins -> Add new -> upload plugin, select the .zip you just download and upload that, then activate.

You’ll then have the full version of EE installed on your site.

Thank you so much! My mistake. Really appreciate it.

You’re most welcome 🙂

One other fix for you, your Invoice and Receipt templates will have been setup using Decaf, so the icons used in those templates will now no longer work as they will reference the decaf directory.

Go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Default message templates -> Invoice.

Assuming you haven’t made any changes to the template (correct?) you can just click the ‘Reset templates’ button on that page, EE will regenerate the default template using the current EE directory.

Repeat that for the Receipt template and your all set.
