I have searched and searched how to do this, but I haven’t found anything. SO my apologies in advanced if I missed it.
So, here’s what I am trying to do…
In the EE4 demo, I created an event in which teams can register in teams of 2, 3, or 4 people.
The event registration works almost as I want, with one caveat, the pricing is very confusing.
Here’s my setup:
I also have the Min and Max qty for each entry set accordingly. So Min 2 – Max 2 for a 2-person, So Min 3 – Max 3 for a 3-person, and So Min 4 – Max 4 for a 4-person.
And here’s how registration actually looks:
This is where it becomes confusing. The registration form forces me to select a quantity of tickets.
So if I were registering as a 3-person team, I would see that the price is $195 per team. But then I am forced to choose a quantity of 3 in order to continue. Most people would then think they are purchasing 3 * $195. When really they are purchasing 3 * $65.
Furthermore, someone registering could, if they click the wrong places, purchase tickets for multiple teams (2, 3, and 4). When in reality they should only be purchasing one of them.
How can I modify my setup so that this is not so confusing to the end customer?
