Morning all,
So I notice that when I use < a href…. in a page (Edit Page in WordPress) a <br > tag is also being generated. One sees that generated <br> in the output when one views the page (Inspect Element).
Im trying to create Call to Actions buttons and with this extra <br > the lining is off…
Heres my code

Heres what I tried:
I removed all of my CSS on the class button-hover.
I searched all of the WordPress files for /A thinking somewhere CSS was generating the content on a :before or :after tag, to no avail.
My theme is Iced Mocha and Event Espresso 4
What am I missing ?

Hi Steph,
The issue you reported here isn’t something to specific to Event Espresso and is best asked about in a general WordPress forum. That said, you could try a plugin like this one:

Youre right, its not specific to Event Espresso. But it seems to be something to do with Iced Mocha theme, so I thought you guys would help.

Because when I switch to another theme (Twenty Fourteen for example), I don’t have that issue.
