Surcharge per credit card submission

Is there a way to add a surcharge per transaction (one to many tickets) that does not become reflected in the ticket price on the ticket at the ticket?

I note that you inferred something like this functionality in the entry in this forum at “PayPal / Credit Card processing fee surcharge” in 2015 and the new PaymentPro plugin was being offered as a future solution.

Specifically, we want to add $2.75 as an add on, without it showing in the price of the ticket. Sort of like adding an add on question with payment without allowing the user to uncheck the option.

Any suggestions?
