a. I am in India and would like to use a custom payment gateway – http://www.ebs.in – can the pro version support it

Hello Ram,

That gateway is not currently supported by Event Espresso. We can add new gateways, if the development cost is sponsored. Generally it costs $1000 to create a new gateway unless there are issues that extend development time (rarely happens though). You can request this via this form https://eventespresso.com/rich-features/multiple-payment-options/custom-payment-gateway-development/

It is possible to create your own gateway, we have some basic documentation to do so, but it would not be covered under the support licence, i.e. it’s up to you to make sure it works and is maintained.
