My support license doesn’t renew for a few weeks yet but I am receiving an alert message that “An automatic update for Event Espresso is available but your Support License Key is invalid. Either you have entered the wrong key on the Event Espresso General Settings page (EE3+ users) or Your Organization Settings page (EE4+ users) OR you no longer have access to the updates for this plugin. Please log in to your Event Espresso account to manage your Support License Keys or purchase a support license right now.”

I did try re-entering the key but still receiving the same message.

Hi there,

I can’t see an issue with your account so I’ve reset your license key to see if that fixes it, if not we can investigate further.

Please go to Event Espresso -> General Settings.

Empty the site license key field and save the settings with nothing set in the field.

Go to your account page, copy your license key, paste it into the key field again and save, that will relink your key to your site.

Hi Tony – thanks for the quick response. I tried the new license key and also deactivated, then reactivated the plugin but am still receiving the error message.

Hi,

I’m sorry for the trouble. I’ve restored your account, I’m not sure what went wrong there. The next time you go to your site’s Event Espresso > General Settings page, then click save, you’ll be able to go and update the plugins again.
