When a customer registers and pays via Paypal, the confirmation email contains a section from Paypal and an area styled to match the site with the event details and registration info. The problem we are having is that the one of the tables in the email has white background and white text and we can’t find where to change this. As the styling matches the site, I’m assuming it originates with EE. Any thoughts? Keith. |
Which confirmation email contains this info? Is this email sent from the site, or from a third party? Check the email editors in html mode to be sure there isn’t any inline style rules declaring something like: color:white |

Josh, First off, apologies for not replying to this sooner. But now I have a new problem! We didn’t find any color:white in the emails on the General Settings page (I’m assuming this is what you meant). So I decided to go through the whole booking process. Now when you register for an event the price comes up as £0.00 on the confirmation screen and on the attendees list it shows as being paid. (Actual price £149) Any ideas? Also, if you want I can ask this again in a new post. Thanks Keith. |
Make sure you have the latest version of Event Espresso ( and the add-ons) installed, and there are no outdated templates in /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates. |

Everything is now up to date but no change. Maybe I’m missing something obvious! The event is in at £149 but when you register it goes straight to saying amount: £0.00. Keith. |
Is the WP User integration add-on installed? And if so, are members prices set? |
|
|
Yes, User Integration installed and members prices set. Keith |
Which version of Event Espresso and the WP user integration add-ons? Are there any templates in /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates? Are you using the custom post types feature? |
|

Event Espresso: Version 3.1.24.3.P As you’ve probably worked out, I’m a beginner when it comes to this kind of thing so if this turns out to be really simple, I apologise. Keith. |
I don’t need a list of what is in /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates, but having 29 items in there is probably the issue. Please try renaming that directory to something like /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates-OLD. Then check the registration pages. |

Sorted! Thanks for that. Any ideas what I may have done wrong so I can avoid it in the future. Keith. |
Only copy templates that need to be modified in /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates. Then check for changes in the core templates (these are the templates included in the core Event Espresso plugin when you update. |
