The new Event and Ticket CARD GUI is not intuitive enough for me to understand how to duplicate TICKETS. I run over a hundred events yearly packed into five short months that are DUPLICATES of last season’s. We sell conferences with complex hotel room packages to recreate every year. For eight years I was able to DUPLICATE the entire event, scroll through and update new dates and new prices on tickets. The new interface is strange. I can create a new event DATE card. It offers me a view of the EXPIRED TICKETS. I can even select all the previous tickets to be linked to the event., But how do I feed those newly checked tickets down to the ticket card interface? Yes, I want to reuse duplicates of last year’s tickets because there is fine print that the layers make me show: after eight years, I wouldn’t be able to recreate them without cumbersome compare-and-contrast. There has to be a way to continue duplicating every detail of late year’s event as a starting point for this year. But I can’t figure it out. What am I missing about all the extra graphical sequences that hinder my ability to duplicate old expired tickets so I can change the dates and resurrect those old tickets? Help, what am I missing in the new interface? |

MORE TO THIS… I published my CONFERENCE EVENT: And the EXPIRED tickets were published and appear. The public rendering has the tickets (of course, they expire when I edit them). But I have not figured out how to duplicate them into the same Event so that I might update them (not to remain expired). I think the old DUPLICATION interface was more intuitive that the new CARD look and feel interface. |

Hi there, What I suspect the issue here is, is the default filters applied within the editor to datetimes and tickets. When you duplicate an event if you want to view all of the datetimes/tickets on that new duplicate just disable the filters: https://monosnap.com/file/DDZbjO5F8dfIWjqEukD8jCq5DTgSBK That will then show any datetimes/tickets all at once so they can be edited from there. Does that help? |

Thank you! That worked. I never thought of toggling those filters. The meaning was strange, but I have ten more such events to duplicate from last year, so I will watch them more carefully and experiment. |

Now I am stumped again. I used to be able to change the order of tickets as rendered on the event page. Did reordering get removed? I switched from card view to table view (which is how tickets are displayed to customers), and I can’t find a drag-and-drop feature or reordering arrows (like the older versions used). |

Re-ordering hasn’t been removed but its now in its own section. Open up the filters for ticket, the ‘set order’: https://monosnap.com/file/Kk0djPCiXcIgmBA0KQUYTwSzjkR9zy A modal will open like this: https://monosnap.com/file/rHcKORJnXFaJHzQyDBzQXHaOboJWle Drag and drop the order to whatever you prefer and then submit the changes. The order set there changes the front-end ordering, not the ordering within the admin. |
