Stripe Translation Using locale:'auto' FAILS

About one month I get fixed a translation issue with Stripe checkout window adding locale:'auto' in line 179 of espresso_stripe_onsite.js. Reference article is this:

However, translation has gone bad again and checkout window is now appearing back in English. Any idea about what might be going on?

It may be a browser caching issue, but you should note that we do not support customizing the actual files in the plugin.
