Received a prompt today to update the Event Espresso – Stripe Payment Method (EE 4.6.0+) Version 1.1.13.p. So downloaded the Stripe Payment Gateway v1.1.14.p from my account and started to install the new version, but the dashboard indicates the plugin is not the same name. Page states the downloaded plugin is named Event Espresso Payment Method – Stripe Integration. Is this really the same plugin? Will it update properly or do I have to Reconnect to Stripe after the update?

Hi there,
Yes, it’s the same plugin and yes, it should update properly.
We’ve changed the names of our payment methods to all use:
“Event Espresso Payment Method – {merchant name} Integration”
Becuase over time the payment methods have used different names, such as Gateways and some are not just strictly gateways/payment methods anymore… they are an integration which can also include a Payment Method.
So yes, the above is an update to that plugin, the latest update includes an update to use a newer version of the Stripe SDK and also includes a Stripe Checkout integration.

You should NOT have to reconnect with Stripe after updating your plugins.
